OUR STORY

Rida D’Agostino and Karen Kelliher joined forces to create Foxhall House to Home, a boutique luxury home services company, out of a desire to make a meaningful difference in the way homeowners experience selling, moving and living in an organized home.

Rida and Karen met while working as Project Managers with Washington, DC’s renowned home transition expert Caroline M. Carter, founder of Done in a Day, Inc. They enthusiastically bonded over the positive impact their work had on the lives of homeowners.

Sharing a mutual love of strong coffee, Rida surprised Karen with a gift of a novelty tea towel that read “No coffee, No workee” and they both knew they were a perfect match. With over two decades of combined experience in the home staging, home improvement, and design industries, Rida and Karen have the established network and proven methodology to support homeowners every step of the way. Through their attention to detail, thoughtful and strategic preparation, and flawless execution, they deliver the best experience tailored to each client's unique needs.

Sell faster. Move happier. Live better!

Rida D’Agostino transitioned from the corporate world to pursue her interest in home staging after a decade working in marketing for architectural firms and Clark Construction Group. She has since developed a wide breadth of experience in home improvement and move management. While managing large renovation projects both professionally and personally, Rida honed her expertise in keeping projects on time and on budget, while also identifying quick, easy, and inexpensive home fixes that can vastly improve a property’s perceived value.

Helping manage her parents’ five different moves within nine years, including a major downsize of their home of 18 years, kickstarted Rida’s passion for planning and overseeing moves and discovering the strategies necessary to facilitate a seamless relocation for homeowners.

Rida lives in Petworth with her husband, two boys, and dog named Quinn. She enjoys exploring DC’s ever-changing lineup of new restaurants, and drinking too much coffee.

Rida holds a BA degree from Drew University and an MBA from The George Washington University.

Karen Kelliher began her career in politics after moving to DC from New Mexico to work on Capitol Hill. She ultimately worked for three members of Congress, as an Assistant to the President and an American Ambassador in Rabat, Morocco and for a co-founder of the Carlyle Group in Paris. Karen has been able to successfully parlay her extensive experience in managing complex, high-profile schedules, deadlines, and personalities into a thoughtful, diplomatic approach for homeowners, contractors, vendors and real estate agents.

A government salary coupled with exposure to varied interior design styles through living and working abroad, encouraged Karen’s eclectic, high-low design aesthetic which has been instrumental in staging homes on a budget. Her cultivated viewpoint and visual merchandising experience also help produce interiors which look authentic and memorable for home buyers.

Karen enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, gardening, reading, and hunting for unique pieces at flea markets for her Wesley Heights home.

Karen received her BBA from New Mexico State University where she became a Mexican food lover-for-life!
